Gitta begon pas rond haar 55ste te schilderen maar haar fascinatie voor de oude meesters was er altijd al. Ze vindt inspiratie in afwisseling en uitdaging en kiest bewust voor uiteenlopende onderwerpen. Haar werk varieert van stillevens tot portretten tot vredige landschappen en abstracte composities, en weerspiegelt haar liefde voor het ontdekken en experimenteren.
Met een open blik en voortdurende nieuwsgierigheid blijft Gitta zichzelf ontwikkelen. Ze gelooft dat kunst nooit af is en dat het verkennen van nieuw technieken en thema's haar creativiteit voedt. Gitta only started painting around the age of 55, but her fascination for the old masters had always been there. She finds inspiration in variety and challenge, and consciouly chooses diverse subjects.
